Hi, my name is Samarth. I am an IMG from India, and I recently cleared my OET exam in May 2022. I have booked my Plab-1 seat in August 2023. In today's blog, I will tell you about my preparation plan for the PLAB 1, which I hope will help you study more efficiently in less time.
I will discuss in this blog the following:
• My Timeframe
• Study Plan
My Study Planner
Till now, I've studied dermatology, ophthalmology, psychiatry, and obstetrics. I practice 50 questions daily. It will take approximately 3 months to complete the question bank. After that, for 7 weeks, I plan on giving a mock test with 75 questions each with thorough revision at the end of the day. After this, I plan on giving timed big mocks consisting of 180 questions to simulate the atmosphere, similar to the PLAB 1 exam. Also, at the end of every day, I review the wrong questions to strengthen my weaker topics.
Bookmarks have always helped me a lot as I don't have to make a separate notebook for the stuff I don't remember. After finishing my questions, I plan on revising the bookmarks and reviewing my notes. I also have handwritten notes for most subjects, which have helped me a lot.
After this, I plan on going through the newer guidelines to stay as updated as possible. I go through the guidelines only from the official websites and note them down for further revision. So this is my plan to pass the PLAB 1 exam. Hope this works for you and me as well.
